Hugs biscuits recipe of 16-04-2015 [Updated on 16-04-2015]
The abbracci cookies are among Elisa's favorites, we usually share them, she takes the black part and I the white one;) When I found the recipe to reproduce the abbracci cookies at home on the website of the white mill I made them with a little of skepticism, I did not believe they could be so similar to the originals and instead ... the same! I think it's my best-selling fake author and I'm really happy to share the recipe with you. Needless to say, they reach the top soaked the next day in a cup of milk, as long as you resist not eating them all fresh from the oven;) Today, if I can I would like to have dinner with my family, in the last period I am so messed up that I skipped a lot "Thursday culinary" and today I would really like to catch up, so better get to work so I can devote more time to cooking! Kisses and hugs (pass it to me, please;)
How to make hugs cookies
For the cream dough:
For the cocoa dough:
Cream dough: Work the margarine, butter and sugar until creamy
Then add the cream, honey and vanilla and continue to work the mixture
Now add the flour, salt and yeast
Knead until you get a homogeneous mixture. Then put it back in the fridge to firm up
Now prepare the cocoa mixture:
Work the margarine, butter and sugar until creamy
Add the egg yolk, milk and vanilla
Then add the flour, cocoa, salt and yeast
Knead until you get a homogeneous mixture. Then put the dough in the fridge to harden
Take the two loaves back and place them on a lightly floured pastry board
Take small quantities from the dough and form approximately 5 cm long sticks by hand
Join them by overlapping them slightly and making them "embrace"
Put the abbracci biscuits on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake
Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 10-15 minutes.
Let the abbracci cookies cool before serving. The biscuits can be kept in an airtight aluminum container for up to a week.
